"The horse. Here is nobility without conceit, friendship without envy, beauty without vanity. A willing servant, yet never a slave."

... Ronald Duncan

I have moved back to my home country, South Africa, and am no longer practicing in Germany. I am leaving my website active for anyone who would like to read the information provided.

I am currently settling myself, my husband, my dog and my horses in South Africa and am not actively practicing.

Thank you to all my clients, and their wonderful horses, in Germany!

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to my website!

This website, together with the work I do, is dedicated to all the horses in the world who bring us so much joy, and to all the horse owners who continually strive to make the lives of their horses better.

The professional service I provide is an Integrated Holistic Concept specifically tailored to work towards attaining, and maintaining, your horses’ wellbeing and health.

I have taken the best that the alternative medicine and bodywork for horses has to offer, together with my over 30 years of experience with horses, and consolidated this to form a powerful approach to horse health.

I use the gentle, ground-breaking equine bodywork module, The Equine Touch, as the basis of all the work I do with horses. It has been described, by leading equine vets, as the ‘ultimate hands on therapy for horses’. I am very privileged to be one of the first people to be able to bring The Equine Touch™ to the horses, and horse owners, in Germany.

I support this work with Classical Homeopathy.  This alternative-medicine module allows me to address the horse as a whole, without just focusing on the disease or problem.  Homeopathy can be used to address acute and chronic situations – some that have been in place for many years.

I also assess, and consult on, the individual elements that may be impacting on your horses’ health (see Equine Elements) and provide support while we look together for a solution.

I always recognise and respect your horses’ individuality – as every horse is different. Their individual characters dictate how they deal with situations and stress.  My approach, therefore, is always tailored to the individual horse and his needs.

The Holistic Horses concept stands, however, on a foundation of understanding the inherent nature of the horse – that being a flight and herd animal. I believe that through the awareness of this in-built instinct we may see the horse in a different light and, hopefully, bring about changes that will make their lives with us easier and happier.

My goal is to work together with you, the horse owner, in a non-judgemental and supportive role, to facilitate an environment for your horse that supports his health and wellbeing.

You can look upon it as your ultimate gift to your horse.

I thank you for taking the time, and having the interest, to read this introduction.  I look forward to meeting you, and your horses, in the near future.
